The balances has four notched weighing beams graduated as 0-200x100g, 0-100gx10g, 0-10x1g, and 0-1gx10mg, each provided with a central reading non-removable sliding masses. Balance has covered agate bearing, precision ground pivots and stainless steel pan of 9 cm diameter with bow. It has a capacity of 311 grams and sensitivity of 0.01mg. Other features include zero adjustment, magnetically damped beam movement and under balance weighing for specific gravity experiments.
